BUENDIA’S “MORAYTA Corner CM RECTO (University Belt/Dormitoryo2)” Directed by ARMAND REYES * Produced by MSV Entertainment and Productions Synopsis (as of March 29, 2012) IT’S year 2012 and the problems of the professional students at the University Belt have remained the same “Four P’s”: Pera (Money), Parents, Puso (Affairs of the Heart or simply Love) and Professors (Academics). Around these basic problems will revolve the lives of our lead characters: TONTON (Arron Villaflor)– A good-looking 19-year old boy in pursuit of his biological father’s (Bobby Yan) affection. His mother is already in the USA with her common-law American husband while his father has a family of his own already but is presently tending to Tonton’s school needs with a heavy heart. RICHARD (Renz Michael)– A well-off spoiled brat, born with the silver spoon in his mouth, so-to-speak but who finds approval in his dorm mates in their lowly dorm by treating them generously to drinking sprees and pigging out. He’s carrying an affair with his liberated young professor girlfriend (Pamela Sue). HECTOR (Carlo Lazerna)– A meek small-town boy who is pressured by his poor parents to finish a course which is not to his liking and mental capacity.
