Q&A: Questions on research paper?

Question by : Questions on research paper?
I am writing a research paper for my class that I am in. It is not a english or writing class. I have not taken an English or writing class in over 10 years and I have forgotten much of the basics on writing papers. I have a some questions that I hope some of you could answer for me. I work in the field of which I am writing the paper on, is it ok to use my personal experiences in the research paper? Such as “I have come across many people that have done it this way”…etc. I am kinda stuck on how to get my paper going and what I need to keep it good. Besides my personal experiences in working in the field, most of my information would be from other resources. Is it ok to use alot of resources in your paper as long as they are acknowledged? I wasn’t sure if most of the paper could be resources with little tidbits of other stuff or what. I just need a little nudge in the direction that could help me in getting this paper going.

Absolutely use other sources and cite them properly.

You can put in your intro that you are familiar with the topic because you’ve been working in the field for 10 years or whatever. That will give you some credibility with editorial comments. By editorial comments I mean your opinion on the research. If, for example, some scholar says that a particular procedure should be followed in certain circumstances, you would mention that in your paper. But it would actually be pretty interesting if you add that in “real life” it doesn’t work that way. Your personal experiences could bring an added dimension to your research paper.

I have always been taught that one cites a source for everything in a research paper. So, other than your opinions and information of common knowledge, you should support your paper with references.

Help me find a camera?

Help me find a camera? My camera keeps breaking, and I’m just sick of it. By the way, I take extremely good care of my cameras. It’s just this one is a pain in the derriere! Here is the camera: http://cache.gizmodo.com/assets/resources/2007/07/EX-Z75_PK_ff2_le_CD.jpg

And my brother bought the Olympus FE-20 8.0MP Digital Camera – $ 99.00 and I don’t like it at all, he got it because he got it for cheap at his work, but honestly it’s just a big piece of crap.

Here is what I’m looking for in a camera. I want great image quality!
Something 8.0 or higher. I want sharp images. And something that won’t be blurring, the Olympus FE-20 blurred sooo much! Even when I put the mode for “shaky hands” – it did nothing.

I need decent video quality, and with audio. Something that would do nice focusing for YouTube videos. I will also be traveling to Europe this year, so I’d like something good for videos, and especially for all the concerts I go to!

I want a camera with a charger, I don’t want any kind of batteries. I mean of course the digital camera battery but not anything like – AA, AAA, etc.

Camera has to be at least a bit thin, nothing bulky. I travel alot and don’t want a huge big camera. I need something to fit nicely into a pocket.

At least 3x optical zoom.

$ 275 or less.

Any help? I also would like to be a future photographer, and I take photos using a digital camera. My mom says no to the big expensive bulky cameras, so I can’t get them, unfortuantely. I’m still very young, and have alot more to learn. But, I’m just looking for a GOOD digital camera! Any suggestions? Thank you!

I might have something right up your alley. It’s the same kind of camera that I have…

Olympus Stylus 1010. Great picture quality, 10MP. Amazing optical zoom for its size and price, 7x optical, 5x digital. It is perfectly sized (I think). The battery is chargeable in a wall outlet, and lasts a very very long time. It comes with image-stabilizer so you don’t have any problems with blurring. The video mode is amazing. Has audio and even allows you to zoom in and out WHILE video recording – most digital cameras don’t allow you to do that. I got mine on CircuitCity.com for less than 370 definitely, but I forget exactly how much. Check it out, it is an awesome camera, especially for it’s size and convenience. For the price range, I would not have gone with anything else. If you think it’s good look this way for best answer!

WARNING: Stacking alot of damage is possibly game-breaking , by that i mean , even on hard-mode , the game will feel too easy. So if you’re not into that , use these tips in moderation for a good overall damage and defence. This Guide is intended for people who have leveled a character up to the point where they have access to the Valor Arena , or atleast the vendors in that zone. Likely you’ll have picked up a few things questing your way to this point , and allready have some decent parts/gems for the weapons. And last but not least , i did this on PC , i am not sure if it applies to PS3 or XboX360 , if you’re a console user and want to try this out , please remember to make a new save before crafting the item , and save again before scavenging. If you’ve seen my channel lately, you would have noticed that i’m using songs from alot of movies lately (Masquerade & Marian) and this is no exception! My older sister and I have a tradtion that when we look after our younger brother and sister we try and introduce them to a movie they haven’t seen yet. Being born in 1998 & 2000; Hocus Pocus fit into that category. So naturally after watching it again i wanted to use the song ‘I Put a Spell on You’ and I did. Ursula was chosen as the main character because the other ‘witches’ are not very musical. She fit the music the best. I know that Eris is a goddess, but I don’t have footage of alot of witches. All the characters are in the credits and so are all the songs and movies that I have used to put this clip together. Is it true? My friend came to my house last night as was really depressed…. He’s been doing alot of research and theres alot of stuff to be explained…..

1. Is it true that the Federal Banks will own everything including Gov.?
2. Was 9/11 FALSE? was it a distraction? We saw videos from
various angles, and it seems like the Building Exploded BEFORE the planes hit, and that the Wars in the Middle East were a distraction to lure us away from the “real” issue.

3. Congress signed a bill that allows the President to have absolute power (dictatorship), and it speaks of Airborne and flesh eating Chemical agents. It speaks of underground “Birthing areas”.

4. Why are there Millions of Caskets stacked by Fema all over Louisiana? -misspelled I know lol
5.Why did the US IMPORT Thousands of SOVIET TANKS, COPTERS, AND GAS-FILLED TRUCKS?
6.HE says that its all the FEDERAL BANKS and 4 FAMILIES, including the rockefellers who are plotting all this, and that the Economy is falling apart and they will continue to tear if apart more,
7. This is all going to be done because of “Overpopulation”, and our resources being consumed.
8.The Gov. or the main Evil here plans to kill 80% of US population

10. This presidential Election will not matter once “Martial Law” is put into effect, and Bush will become a Dictator after that since Congress cannot “question” Martial Law for 6 months, which will be too late by then.

This dude is a good friend of mine and isnt the crazy type.
In fact hes very levelheaded. when he talked about all this he reminded me of the time I had my “End-Of-the-World-phase” in which I was obsessed with reasearching about the year 2012 and the Mayan Calender, and Aliens and stuff, but I got over that.
He says that part of him Believes all this, but part of him tells him he’s crazy….

But All the Videos I saw, and the research I did made it seem like a possible thing.

They pay income tax , social security tax (removed from their paycheck every week), FICA tax and sales tax. When the buy a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread they are paying taxes.

And when they go to the hospital they surely get billed and have to pay. they CANNOT apply for Medicare or medicaid, and no illegal has a right to claim wellfare.

If the immigrants were not needed they would not be here. Pure economics, Supply and Demand.!!

So what seems to be the big problem, if the govt knew they were such a “threat” they would “kick them out”. The US certainly has the money and resources.
First of all I do not live in a fantasy world , I am an educated person with a bachelors degree in business and speak purely from experience of many people around me. That I can verify pay taxes.
When you check in at a hospital they ask for ID, You cannot lie. Please get REAL. Sorry to see many haters out there.

By the way alot of immigrants do have their ITN number and pay taxes .

Do you know that the Social Security administration knows which numbers are fake and still collect taxes on them???

Most of them are fake not stolen. But the tax is being paid.

I know there are alot of teen pregnancy in any race.But it is a really alarming rate in hispanics.They come to the US illegally with a boyfriend or with their families and shack up with the first guy that comes along and bam pregnant.Am alone it thinking this is a huge problem?16 and 17 yr old girls aren’t mature enough to care for a child.They haven’t got the financial resources to care for a child.I live in an area that has a large hispanic community largely illegal and I see it all the time they arrive shack up with someone not much older than them and start having them like rabbits.It makes me sick to see these new babies with such a little chance at a future.I’m afraid that they will only repeat the cycle in another 16 yrs or so.I don’t mean to single out hispanics its just I see it every day.What is wrong with this generation of girls?I thought the catholic faith taught chasity until marriage and put a huge point on marriage being the base of the family.What the hell is happeing?

What is wrong with your thinking?

It’s not helping you to do your homework.
If somebody does it for you; YOU are not learning a thing.
If somebody does this for you; you are going to have to do the ones on a test later.
So, what have you done? You would have cheated.

Take the time to figure out how to do it for yourself. Once you do; you will feel so good about yourself.

Your teacher is there to teach you how to do this. She doesn’t know who needs help unless they (YOU) tell her.
